The Prophets – I Got The Fever
Got The Fever’ was originally released on 7-inch vinyl by Smash Records in 1968 attributed to The Prophets. It was also featured on the bands lone album Fever in 1971, as The Georgia Prophets.
It soon found its way to these shores as a remastered version credited to Creation, an invention of Eric label owner Bill Buster.
It became an overnight dance floor hit and exploded nationwide when reissued by the Black Magic label in 1975.
