The SOULTRIP DVD consists of a 100 minute trail through an amazing trip to Los Angeles by several hundred Brits. They went in search of Northern Soul and found their heroes and heroines at the Wilshire Grand Hotel, LA on March 11th – 18th, 2004.

Live performances from; Alexander Patton, Jerry Williams, The Olympics, Evie Sands, The Magnificents, Lou Ragland, Brenton Wood, Beverly Ann, Freddie Hughes, The Inciters, Frank Wilson, Garland Green, Dean Courtney, Marva Holiday, Jewel Akens plus many more surprise guests!

The trip was conceived by DJ and Promoter Kev Roberts and consisted of 7 days and nights of an amazing trip to LA. This semi-documentary captures the spirit of the Brits coupled with the ‘gobsmacked’ Americans! A literal ‘who’s who’ of faces were there including Kim Weston, HB Barnum, The Secrets, The Apollas, Thelma Jones, Miles Grayson, Chris Radcliffe (Jimmy’s son) who read about the event and subsequently visited to see if anyone had heard of his DAD!!

Enjoy a wonderful and hilarious Karaoke sequence featuring a guy from Sheffield beating Frank Wilson singing ‘Do I Love You’ into 2nd place!!!
