Bobbi Row & The Englishmen – Why’d You Put Me On / The Question Marks – Ain’t That Kinda Sad 45 (Kent) 7″ Vinyl

Bobbi Row & The Englishmen were reputedly Don Julian & The Larks, singing under a pseudonym in the hope of catching some sales from the British invasion. ‘Why’d You Put Me On’ is a beautiful Los Angeles harmony ballad beloved of Lowrider music fans. Those collectors will be doubly enticed by this latest Soul Harmony single as the B side is another very good Money label ballad ‘Ain’t That Kinda Sad’, this time from a real group – the Question Marks. Both discs are tough to find and usually expensive if you do.
