Lightnin’ Slim – Mean Ole Lonesome Train / Have Your Way 45 (Outta Sight) 7″ Vinyl

LIGHTNIN’ SLIM is regarded as one of the 5 great bluesmen of all-time alongside Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson.  Featured here are two of his mid-fifties Excello sides that have been steadily rising in popularity and price.  Both have the requisite R&B tempo for dance floor action and both make their debut vinyl reissue back-to-back for the first time.  “Have Your Way” is also featured on the Outta Sight album R&B And Classic Soul Vol 1
