J.P. ROBINSON is an obscure but highly acclaimed soul singer who signed with T.K. Productions and released a string of 45s on Alston, Atco and Blue Candle from 1968 to 1974. This CD represents his complete output from the T.K. period: 20 tracks cut in Miami and Muscle Shoals with staff producers Brad Shapiro, Steve Alaimo, Clarence Reid and Willie Clarke. Compiled by Garry Cape, liner notes by John Ridley, digital mastering and artwork by Paul Mooney.
