Garnet Mimms – As Long As I Have You / (Single Version) 45 (Deptford Northern Soul Club) 7″Vinyl

Two versions of this much-loved gem (covered by Led Zeppelin and Roger Daltrey from The Who more recently), ‘As Long As I Have You’ was the title track of Garnet Mimms’ first solo album from 1964 which made a brief appearance as a seven in France in 1967 and now goes for £992 if you can find a copy.

The flipside is a slightly longer version that was briefly a single in the UK, a super rare cut featuring backing from The Senate which goes for around £500; an edited live take now expertly remastered from the original sound source giving it perfect punch.
