Charisma Band – Bless The Day
First re-issue of the 1975 modern soul dance classic, original copies now exchanging hands for upwards of £250. Little is known of The Charisma Band other than their two sides for Buddah and Columbia Records respectively. Composer of both tracks here is Ronald Thomas, later active with the group Colors. Producer is Bert De Coteau, active for over three decades from the 60s, is one of the most outstanding for lush soul and disco. Pure quality.
