Milton James & The Creators – My Lonely Feeling
Kenard – What Did You Gain By That?
Like most other Northern Soul aficionados, I would love to have an original of Milton James’ trance-like, rhythmic soul dancer ‘My Lonely Feeling’ but a Kent 45 is going to have to fill the gap until that lottery win. Milton was a member of, and is backed by, the Creators who usually had Little Johnny Hamilton out front.
It is coupled with the quirky and similarly elusive ‘What Did You Gain By That?’ by Lew Bedell’s right-hand soul man – Kennard Gardner. – Ace Records
