GC Cameron – Live For Love / Love Just Ain’t No Fun 45 (Soul Brother) 7″ Vinyl

G.C.Cameron replaced Phillipe Wynne in the Detroit Spinners in the ’70’s (he is the lead voice on “It’s A Shame”) and now in the 00’s is a Temptation. He is one of those great male vocalists who have never really received his dues despite cutting some great albums for Mowest, Motown and Malaco.

Has never received the commercial success he deserved. ‘Live For Love’ was a one-off single for Honey records but was never released in USA, only coming out on a UK on the short lived Flamingo label.

In 2005 Soul Brother Records released a more DJ friendly RE-EDIT on the compilation CD “Wants List Vol.2” and this has been desired on 7” since that time, coming to fruition in 2014 for Record Store Day.

This 7” release comes complete with an EXCLUSIVE and previously unreleased song “Love Just Ain’t no Fun” which was recorded at the same time in 1980 and has never been heard until now. This quality recording will be much desired by soul fans.
