Duane Williams – These Songs Are For You CD (Soul Junction)

At last! the follow up to Duane Williams’ highly successful 45 release ‘Yes My Love Is Real’. The album contains 12 tracks in all including the aforementioned 45 release. Under the auspices of long time friend and mentor Will Hatcher, Duane has created a varied selection of songs which showcase his vocal talents to perfection. From the social comment of the gospel influenced ‘Father We’re Having Trouble’ to the feel good sound of ‘Oh Me, Oh My (Wonderful)’ the quality of the performance remains consistently high. Two of the other tracks featured, ‘Living In A World’ and ‘I wanna Be With You’ will be instantly recognisableas previous recordings from the Beverley and Duane Ariola album, but listen again these are now solo recordings with some very subtle chnages.
