A revitalised Brass Construction re-emerged with their fifth album (From 1979) with fresh energy. This album is possibly their strongest apart from their incredible debut album. ‘Music Makes You Feel Like Dancing’ and ‘Shakit’ have been popular dance floor fillers since the album’s release and are still regularly heard in clubs today.
Some of the other tracks had a heavier deeper feel to them, which showed a slight change in their approach. Brass Construction recorded another 5 albums after this one, and whilst they continued to record some great tracks were unable to maintain the consistent quality of this album. First Time On CD too
We are delighted to be able to include this record on CD for the first time in our classic albums series, re-mastered from the original master tapes and with very interesting sleeve notes from Randy Muller himself. – Soul Brother
