First time complete on CD reissue for these two rare mid 60s duet albums by the King and Queen of Scepter-Wand Records.
Both artists are proven sellers via Kent’s earlier solo reissues of each’s Wand albums, and both artists are still active performers on the soul circuit. Their large fan bases have been waiting a long time for this reissue.
As one might expect, several of the tracks were also released as successful US R&B chart 45s for the duo.
The comparatively brief running time of the two original albums is enhanced by the addition of four solo Chuck Jackson tracks that were A and B sides of some of his final singles for Wand Records. Three of them have never been reissued before. – Ace Records
