One of the mainstays of the late 90s / early 2000s Deep Funk movement ‘Soul Brother’s Testify’ is a fiery mix of funk beats and almost psychedelic, verging on heavy rock guitar.

Randle was a jobbing Louisiana guitarist and bandleader, whose group recorded for Eddie Shuler of Goldband’s ANLA label.

This reissue is a faithful repro reissue of the original and sought-after 1967 45. – Ace Records
